Fairmont Royal Pavilion

Considered a luxury gem on Barbados’ Platinum Coast, between its beachfront restaurants and the verdant gardens that pepper the property, Fairmont Royal Pavilion, Barbados offers the irresistible beauty of the island at every turn. The Barbados Platinum Coast refers to the island's west coast, renowned for its calm, crystal clear waters, powdery sands, and features high-end dining and shops. The oceanfront paradise location offers a great combination of options for relaxation, activity, culture, and fine dining! Don't forget to reflect the island’s British influences, with a complimentary tea service (once per stay), available at the Taboras Restaurant, where scones and pastries are paired with a cup of Earl Grey, truly a great way to spend the late afternoon.

Located just eight miles from the resort, the duty-free and specialty shops in Bridgetown, the capital city. Bridgetown is known for being the vibrant, historic capital of Barbados, featuring colonial architecture, the historic George Washington House, and the Garrison Area. It also serves as a hub for duty-free shopping, waterfront activities along the Careenage, and is a gateway to the island's famous beaches and rum distilleries, like Mount Gay.

Taxis are generally safe and reliable in Barbados especially when using licensed taxis identified by the "Z" on their license plates and by using the PickUp Barbados app. We recommend to confirm the fare before your trip and also clarify if the price is in Barbados or US dollars.
